I spent the last year on the side building apps that bring me about $4k a month in passive income checks from Apple. But I’ve not worked as hard at FB, and a year out of college am still E3. I’ve put in a lot of effort into my apps, and it’s taken away from my job. I still perform at a meets all level, but could’ve maybe done better if I worked more than 30 hours a week lol. I’m worried I’m going to fall behind in TC, given we’ve had inflation in the world and wage increases across the board. Am I screwing my life up by focusing too much on passive income?
No, the average time to e4 is two years
1. Build passive income 2. Quit FB / rat race 3. ??? 4. Profit
2. Enjoy fb and work for fun
No you gained additional diverse life experiences with your app building journey. You are doing the opposite of screwing up your life. All that with a HUGE plus that you are making $4K a month. You better baby that thing and keep that passive at or above that level!
You are working at FB and asking whether you are behind and worries about inflation smh
Screw up your life and make Mark Zuckerberg happy
You know you can retire with that income in Mexico and have beautiful life right? Keep working on that and grow that as much as you can. I am M2 and I wish I could do what you have already done. Dont get into rat race and do you what you enjoy the most.
If anything we should learn from you, not the other way around
In app purchases, subscription, or ads?
It is not passive if you have to work hard for it
Passive income is the primary goal so yes. Tc is for beginners. Passive income is for pros. Keep building and diversify, the app take is incredibly challenging to maintain.
I spend more time on the apps than my job. It’s really competitive out here.
