When applying or talking with recruiters what is the accurate way to mention about talking about job gap so you just say that you just stopped working 1 months ago instead of 6 months back. My fear is recruiter might just move on if he knows that I am not working for some time back. Any expert opinions. Pease help!
Mention about it only when you’re asked. Don’t bring it up yourself. Even if you hide it now, they may find out later during offer time. Just say that your whole team was impacted due to the economic restructuring. Ask ChatGPT on how you can frame the response.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I mean when you send resume to recruiter or apply what do you say. Do you say still working when you have actually stopped working
You can say career break in the resume and add any courses or classes you are taking to upskill yourself or you can send the old resume only ..what matters is how many years of experience you have .. not the break..
