Has anyone here made the transition before? How was that change? I’ve always been interested in media and I think i would enjoy ad sales much more than tech.
Curious to hear this as wel
I’ve done it. I was at a smaller startup and now I’m at a larger media conglomerate... best decision ever. The clients are much more perceptive. But i will say, it’s a lot more ups and downs than tech sales, at least from my experience. It’s best not to be the most analytical person in media/ad sales.

How bad is it in meta?
Curious to hear folks who have made the switch. My perception: Tech = complex, solution selling. Media = relationship, commodity selling (Dunder Mifflin).
