Thomson Reuters post interview process - Canada
I interviewed with Thomson Reuters for Senior Software Eng last week, and it felt like they liked me in the interviews. I asked my recruiter thrice about any feedback/updates, and every time he said that he will ask Hiring manager for updates, but didnโt get back to me yet with any decision. He did tell me that the hiring manager liked me, but not for this role. Now the confusion is that in the workday application system, my application status is shown as โProcess completedโ, but I didnโt receive any rejection email that I think is usually sent out automatically whenever they reject someone. Usually takes a week or two at max for recruiter to call you with a verbal offer/negotiation after final interview stage. If that hasn't happened, then it's likely that you're not the first choice. I recommend being patient. Alternatively, you could reach out to hiring manager directly with the facade of learning a bit more about the work and team.
