Received an offer from Google for a program manager role (non technical) in Chicago. I have about 10 years of experience and an MBA from a top 10 program. Base- 146k Bonus -22k (15%) Equity- 161k over four years Sign on- 10k TC is $220-230k Any thoughts? Reasonable?
Sounds low for someone with 10 years of experience and a top MBA
TC is ~$210, as it doesn't include signing bonus, just FYI. Probably an L5 offer? That seems right on par for non-tech program manager, which I am.
Sorry, I was calculating first year TC using Google’s 33% vest in the first year schedule. Thanks for your input! Anything you think I can negotiate on here? Salary or equity?
Possibly equity if you have another offer. Take a shot, but you'll need leverage. Non-tech is *much* harder to negotiate. Tbh your salary and equity will go up end of year with performance, sometimes significantly.
Sounds like l4 offer
It's non-tech, I'm positive that's L5.
Oh non tech, l5 then. I got numbers for tech PgM and it was these numbers l4
Interesting. Was told non tech L5 range was 125-135 base for Chicago and total TC 150-200.
That’s probably L4. The above is L5.
Could you share which department?
What level?
I think L5, and it’s in Chicago
