Does USAA lay off SWE?
Just started working as a junior engineer at USAA with all this market uncertainty what are my chances of being layed off? Does usaa do layoffs on engineers?#engineering #software #swe #usaa

Just like it was mentioned in your previous post. Don’t be too nervous or concerned. Engineering should fair extremely well. I think someone mentioned that 3rd party contractors, product management, Scrum Masters and middle management are the most at risk.
Realistically 0% chance you are getting laid off.

The next round of "restructuring" won't be huge but it will 100% include some engineers. If you just started as a junior though, you're probably safe.
Hopefully not, esp with the pay
