Hi i edited the post ..may be you read before i edited .Its L6 - senior program manager- Last mile team

Is the 440 RSUs over the 4 years? Presuming Seattle/LA/NYC the offer looks v low

Amazon DwPI57 May 9

You can likely get more sign on and RSUs. Also once in Amazon there are a lot of L6 positions with higher pay than program manager so an internal rotation at L6 could be a good bump in non-tech Source: Iā€™m L6 non-tech

Its for Austin

Is there any restriction for applying internally? And how about maternity leave? Am I eligible ?

This is a good offer for Austin. There isn't much wiggle room. As far as maternity leave you are eligible after the first 3 months. I would really watch out though. You will be a target for pip when you get back if you take it within the first year

How can you navigate if you are due in first year ?

Amazon HRPufnstu May 9

If it was 2 years ago, you would be fine. Now there is a target on everyone's back. Managers in a lot of orgs have a 15% target they have to fulfill. What will happen is you will be given maternity leave. You will come back and work 1 month and be on Focus for some BS reason probably in month 2. Then you will given the PIP documents shortly later.

I was a L6 program manager and this offer is inline with what I received. Itā€™s one of the lower paying roles since itā€™s non technical

Is it worth accepting? Hows the work life balance

Depends on the team and your skill set. I donā€™t see program manager as a long term career since itā€™s mostly just project management but it is easy to transition within Amazon once you have enough internal experience
