Want to break into SWE as a MBB consultant. Have experience but no degree

Can I just leetcode and pray I’ll land something, or do I need to go to grad school to get a degree first? Don’t really care about TC, just want experience Context: I currently at MBB and want to exit into SWE. My ultimate goal is to do my own startup but I want hands on keyboard experience first. I work primarily in cloud so I know the space. I also code on the side (familiar with react, lamdas, using APIs, etc) and took some classes in undergrad but never got a formal degree. I def have gaps in learning but I hope I can learn about those doing leetcode / on the job (and ideally not do grad school) TC: $140k #engineering #software
