uber onsite

Hi Guys, its been more than 4 business days after my onsite interview at uber in SF office and haven’t got any response yet. I did good on all interviews except one coding round which was extremely hard question. there were mainly 3 . 2 coding and 1 system design is there any possibility of making through ? is no response a good or bad sign ? Probably a bad sign but you still have a chance of being hired. My experience has been if you did great, they'd be banging down your door trying to hire you. If you did awful, they would ghost or reject quickly. If you did well but weren't their top pick, they'll slow play it to see if they get their first choice and you'll be a fallback option.

Is uber infamous for ghosting ?

It's likely that your interview panel just hasn't had a chance to meet yet

When do you think i should do a follow up ? Tomorrow, it will be a week

Typically response time is 48 hours. But sometimes the recruiter might be on leave or something similar.

5 days is alright. Don’t worry too much. The panel probably didn’t meet. If they’d met, you would know if you got rejected.

Your debrief panel hasn’t met yet. In this season panels are most likely to take longer because some of the folks in panels tend to be involved in promo discussions too and panels are harder to schedule.

@Jckr, do you have any idea if uber is strict and expects candidate to pass both coding rounds ?
