company has been offering couple udacity courses for the employees which they provide you a nanodegree at the end. wanted to see if its worth the time and commitment and are they useful during exit ops? i heard on average they take anywhere from couple of weeks to several months to complete. some nanodegree available are business analytics, AI and machine learning, intelligence automation using UI path, etc.
Probably you can gain some knowledge out of the nanodegree from Udacity. That’s it..However it will not standout on your resume. And someone is not going to hire you because you did nanodegree from udacity. If you have free time and company is paying the money for the course, it’s upto you to consider it or not based on your learning thirst..
Actual skills you may learn through these courses will probably be valuable in terms of learning new skillsets and expanding technical knowledge. Probably the degree itself won't be an attention grabber on the resume though.
You’re probably right, just the skill you learn out of it lol. Looks like it’s quite a time commitment if I do decide to take it so been contemplating
Knowledge and skills will ultimately be more important and impressive than merely a resume bullet.
Probably will be helpful to build skills, but wont be a recognized degree that you would get hired for. I would say go for it if you're interested in it.
Worth it in terms of what? Are you asking if you'll get a better job, higher salary, learn more from it than via other methods, useful for changing careers, etc?
For better salary and job opportunities
