I had an offer to get 50,000 bonus points if I stayed for 6 paid eligible nights at one of the bonvoy hotels. I satisfied my 6th paid night more than 12 weeks before. I was in touch with the marriott customer care during this entire time via email regarding when my points would be deposited. They confirmed that the offer was valid when I got the card and asked me to call them if the points were not deposited within 12 weeks. When I called them, they are saying it is chase who is responsible for welcome bonus rewards, but chase is asking me to contact marriott. It is incredibly frustrating as I had to fight toot and nail between these two multiple times over the past several weeks. I have an upcoming trip and was thinking of using these points to book, but if it goes this way, I may have to cancel the card next year Is there a way to escalate this issue? I have the email from Marriott customer confirming my eligibility. They are trying their best not to credit the points.
