Anyone here work for BAE Systems? What is the culture, benefits, and pay like?
It’s great!
It will be standard big company before the emergence of tech. So easy and comfortable the pay will be okay but it's all base and small bonus.
I've had friends in defense and they generally said very low stress, tons of process -> hard to get work done, tons of old code (although it depends on the project), and TC will be roughly 50% of an equivalent position at a top tech company.
I like it. But ymmv.
It’s not bad. Culture wise it’s a bit more progressive than other big defense companies I’ve worked for. Standard stuff you’d expect from working as a defense contractor. That said, a lot of job satisfaction will depend on what you’re working on and where. But again, pretty standard for any defense contractor.
How’s the compensation at BAE Systems?
Director level?

Wondering if anyone can give me a referral here. NYC area :)
Before anyone else! My BAE is the best.
