Has anyone ever had a recruiter at MRM McCann ask to schedule a phone interview then drop off without scheduling anything? I had a recruiter email me Monday to set up a phone interview and I responded and followed up with additional time slots but have heard nothing from her. Is this normal behavior for their recruiters? Honestly, no response or a rejection would have been better than this...
Generally speaking, I am not surprised if recruiters suddently ghost you. It's very common for them, and this unprofessionalism makes me not to work with recruiters. Rather I find a referral, and that works better in most cases.
Honestly if a recruiter ghosts on you that means they found a better person for that role. Recruiters are looking for their commission and dont care if you specifically get the job.
Agencies loose clients at the drop of a hat. Unprofessional not to call you back but I suspect they lost a bid.
