The comp at reddit is higher. Khan Academy probably has better wlb. Not sure where I’d have a better opportunity to learn new engineering skills, maybe at reddit? Which one do you think is better or how should I go about deciding?
How does Reddit comp compare to FAAANG? Are we talking like 20-30pct lower at mid levels?
I believe Khan Academy doesn't offer stocks. I suspect TC at Reddit might be way above Khan Academy for this reason. Isn't that the case?
Yeah tc is higher for sure at Reddit
No stocks at Khan Academy; we’re a non-profit. We have a good bonus structure to make up for that, but there will never be equity at a non-profit.
WLB is very good at Reddit
What are your numbers
Super late to the party, but I would choose Reddit over Khan. Khan is amazing, don't get me wrong, but if you want to maximize TC then it isn't the place for you. It's more of an older crowd that has made it's money, and wants something that pays well and gives you meaningful work.
Can I DM you? I’m considering a role at KA.
Yeah of course.
What did you end up doing?
Anyone know what PM salaries are like at Reddit? Like principal pm level?
TCs and level at each man
Comp at reddit is about 30k higher + stocks, both similar level
Wow no levels or numbers at all? Are you nervous about being outed?
