I got an offer from Revolut Spain for the role of Data Scientist. The compensation is divided into 3 parts: Base: 80k Euros Stock: 23500 GBP Performance bonus: Yearly: 40% to 100% of salary (in stocks) I have total 4.5 YOE. Is this a good base salary for Spain ? I am planning to relocate to Madrid from India. #tech
Check tax benefits
I have read about the Bekham's law in Spain. Do you think it's a decent base salary considering the tax rate or am I being low balled ?
Seems okay. Not too bad on the base for yoe. A friend makes 68k total base and bonus with 4 years of experience but more take home than people on 84k in Germany
> Performance bonus: Yearly: 40% to 100% of salary (in stocks) This is a lie. Also keep in mind that the company is significantly overvalued but they still use the 2021 share price for new stock grants. Also there hasn't been a single liquidity event in the last 3 years, and still no IPO in sight.
How is it a lie? Lol. I'd be surprised if recruiters were just straight up lying to candidates. How's the bonus plan structured at Revolut then?
Is this mid level or senior? If it's mid level it's a super strong offer - not many companies are willing to pay that much for mid levels in Spain.
This is for mid level
Op Did you take the offer?
Yes I have accepted the offer
Op, how is the culture? How are you feeling there? Do you have any advice for the Advanve machine learning interview? :)
its a good salary with bekham's law you will get around 4750 per month which is preety good in spain. You need to clarify about the bonus, is it 40% of your one month salary or yearly.
Low ball
