I’ve been offered an ED software developer position at Goldman Sachs London. This includes relocation. I’m with almost 10 years experience. TC is 215k USD. How is that compared to the avg?
Thanks for the info! I wonder if it’s common to have the base increased every year? does the bonus % increase with seniority?
Don't know much about GS comp structure but presume they have endless capital for pstem talent similar to the rest.
Is Brexit not a concern to you?
I’m assuming that the current uncertainty is worst than either yes or no to Brexit - this means that my TC will increase in relation to USD after a final Brexit decision is reached. Also, I can hedge against the GBPUSD if things get messy...
What's the breakdown of the offer? All salary or also including bonus?
Including bonus and very small sign up
Btw this is an absurd offer for London, congratulations. One of the highest I've seen. Higher than L5 at FB or Google!
Almost too good to be true, but hey if it is - congrats
Can you share the breakdown? Base, bonus and stocks separately.
For London sounds very good. For NYC or the Bay, slightly above mid market. For tier 1 in NYC or the Bay, (Goldman Sachs tier to your own interpretation) slightly low. One thing to mention is Spotify is certainly elite talent but likely won't pay as well as FNG. 10 yoe in NYC or the Bay should expect $235k+.
