I feel like these were planned last quarter but these companies didn’t want to risk the bad pr from layoffs before the holidays

I mean Disney has apparently started using ai to generate Disney world merch. So animation probably isn’t too far behind. That being said I imagine this is probably more about shifting strategy back to fewer features instead of d+ series. And longer gaps so they bring in more money.
