From what Iβve been told by people who made the switch, itβs much easier at Meta and with higher pay. But the projects are much less interesting and there is much less organization. It seems that Metas focus is on software and leaves the hardware team out of the bad WLB. Where as Apple is more focused on hardware and manufacturing.
