ETS team at Apple
I just got an offer from Apple for the Emerging Tech group under IT&S. Couldn’t find a lot of reviews online regarding the work/wlb of this team. Does anyone know anything about this team? And what are the team switching policies at Apple? Can I switch to a team in a different org? I had a really bad experience at Amazon and would like to avoid teams with bad and toxic culture. Current TC:210k YOE:5 New TC: 250k
They use Infosys contractors and are part of IS&T. Emerging tech is synonymous for crappy outdated enterprise tech. Since you ask about switching teams it seems like you already know the quality of the team
Thanks for the insight. I am just going to turn down the offer and keep interviewing. After being lied to join a very toxic team at Amazon, I now have trust issues with HMs. That’s why I’d always love to have that option as my last resort.
OP please could you share the feedback or reviews that got about this team. A recruiter from this team recently reached out to me, and sold me on to it. I want to know what I’m getting into.
I would avoid them. The recruiter I talked to seem nice at first but then got offended and reneged the offer when I told him my concerns about the team and the org. I also talked to the managers, they tried to make the working environment sounded less toxic, but you can really tell from the way they answered your questions. And the comp was low, it’s less than my new grad package from a couple years ago. I’d say not to waste your time

I guess that means it’s as bad as Amazon sigh.. Should have done a bit more research before interviewing with them..
