1/3 of company let go. US CEO resigned. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-09-12/binance-us-cuts-100-positions-as-crackdown-erodes-crypto-business?embedded-checkout=true
There’s no way a US division survives at all
Things are really going downhill over here.
Yep, alr cut 30% off at Binance.com
More than 100 position 😂
If any binancers would like a referral to TikTok / Bytedance, DM me
It’s shocking that binance execs aren’t in jail yet like ftx with all the shady shit CZ has done
Thank God I didn't apply for their NA office
This is good for Bitcoin.
If you are Asian you won’t get laid off. If you speak Chinese, you won’t get laid off lol
Lol this is the first company I know where asians get privilege.
@TbAt06 - did you guys really just cut 1/3 of staff along with fired CEO?
My friend who works at Binance US says Asians are getting paid doubled of non Asian in the same role lol
The reality is that this company is and works for Chinese speaking employees. I've seen teams getting cut in half where they ended up laying off the best engineers purely based on who could speak Chinese or not.
Yeah layoffs will continue
