In this current cultural climate, lululemon is focusing more and more on social justice than on running the product business that has created so much success. I am a conservative thinker and have been, ironically, completely silenced by a company in pursuit of equality and inclusion. Do i have any fellow conservative thinkers out there at lululemon? how have you felt with the rise of social justice warrior’ing?

"People aren't fooled"
Lol
in my eyes lululemon is not a conservative company
Work somewhere else, why is this so complicated? Did you think a company that creates sports wear for urbanites was going to embrace your definition of conservative thinking?
I don’t expect it to, I appreciate varied points of view to drive creativity. Also, I wonder what companies would be friendly to conservatives today? Would be curious your recommendations. Lol
Chick-Fil-a, Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Mornings, Bulleit Bourbon... there’s plenty
It’s the political climate at the moment. It’ll blow over.
You underestimate the left and the influence they had on millennials. Their minds were shut, not opened, by the universities and may never reopen because they were taught even permitting conservative ideas is complicit. We now have a generation of Americans among us who are incapable of open discussion.
True. The ones for tolerance and diversity are the ones who cancel people and shut down any alternative opinion.
Being conservative by definition is being against inclusiveness. Isn’t this what you want? Or it’s only wrong when your view that’s not inclusive of others gets excluded?
The basis of your argument is completely wrong. I am conservative and I am inclusive. Not sure what you mean by being conservative means you’re not inclusive...
“I’m an conservative and I am inclusive” wins the award for best oxymoron of 2020. You made my day, thanks.
As long as they keep making and selling those yoga pants, they have a blank check from me.
Rephrasing a joke. Behind every beautiful girl wearing lululemon there is a conservative guy who’s got tired of buying that overpriced crap. /s
$70 shorts 🩳 no thanks.
Never short the $BECKY index dude
How do you feel you've been silenced? Do you all go about your day talking about your political views instead of working....if you go to work to...work...i don't see how this has an impact on you unless you're just getting triggered by email comms.
As a leader on the retail ops side, we are having to sit through hours of training each week to discuss how we are racist because we are white and how this needs to be admitted and shared with our teams. Then we are having to roll out these trainings. When my job shifts from being able to run the business to being a “white fragility” trainer; not what I signed on for. About 10 hours a week are spent having to push forward this crap.
That sounds awful
Did you try asking on your private company channel?
So Cisco, is it ok when white nationalist marched with torches?
