What are some high paying jobs (more than 1cr/year) created by NDA in the last 10 years? You can discount the tech salaries, as those are cheap labor which was result of last 30 years on India minting engineers. Most of the employers are US mncs. Indian WITCH companies pay you peanuts #India
Reliance chemical engineers are getting paid well. 🙃 Top lawyers and hedge funds get paid well in India as well. Same goes for private doctors (obviously not all). Traders and consultants are paid handsomely as well. It is very much just like USA .
Doctors, lawyers, consultants and hedge funds? These are your examples? Maybe get your head out of that privileged bubble of yours. India produces less than 2000 doctors every year. As for top lawyers, maybe 500? How tf is it like USA when even a coding bootcamp gets you 100K+ salary?
Most doctors in India do not get paid 1c per year. Not even close. There are probably like 500 doctors in all of India who make that. A doctor at AIIMS Delhi which is basically the Citadel (pun very much intended) of medical careers in India pays up to 2 lac per month. The tax department publishes this data so you can go look.
Chemical engineers get 1cr? Really
Only for plant/unit head which requires 15-20 YOE. Cement industry pays highest in India in manufacturing sector.
Lol so you think anything below 1Cr is not high paying ?
Good doctors make sense, was always the case. I know max doctors made 10l per month 12 years ago.
Yup!! I think he created trust worthy environment!! And when Trump locked h1 b back then , that created orgs to look to diversity as well So he does have created impact on your salary
There are some good things and equally opposite ones! Have seen lot of fraud happen and still no concrete actions taken against them and they continue to grow exponentially! Especially with lot of scam call centers around Kolkata, Delhi and some small cities still operating and defrauding lot of foreigners and desi’s too! Also, small tech consultancies have grown large in numbers and unfortunately, they have been a gateway for many students and unskilled folks to get into market with fake experiences and no skills across US, Europe, Australia, Singapore and lot of countries!
Indeed. Govt eased some rules for startups. 10 years back there were few hundreds startups in India and now there are around 1.25 lac and startups do not need to pay taxes for first 5 years. Govt helped bringing more companies to India, like recently boeing opened office in Bangalore, Airbus is going to manufacture gates for their plane in India. IT companies are hiring more than ever. All depends on demand and supply. So now folks are getting paid better. Some folks will definitely deny it because they are living in denial but reality does not change.
IT was also the shining star on the hill. Airbus is future, talk about last 10 years.
Asian paints. Marketing folks at level Group Marketing Mgmr get paid between 80LPA - 1CR
👍
Why should government create jobs? I hate this nanny attitude of endians.
Then what's the role?
Governing, administration, law enforcement, infrastructure development, education quality and policy enforcement, etc. Not giving jobs to people. It can only create conducive environment for businesses and industry leading to the creation of jobs. The government must not get into providing employment as a policy. That stunts the growth as people become leeches of the government. It should be up to the industry to define wages, create jobs, etc. Government cannot fix wages. That will lead to more inflation. The policies of centre has created boom in startups etc. with high paying jobs. That is an effect of policy. The government didn't create startups. It can only help in easier creation of them. Bihar is underdeveloped *because* people depend on government jobs and expect the government to provide employment to them on the basis of some useless exam. That eats a lion share of the budget! Gujarat is more developed *because* people by-and-large do NOT depend on government for employment (compared to Bihar, it is significantly less expected for the government to be a nanny). The government creates conducive environment for the proliferation of business and economy, leading to employment creation as businesses prefer the state, and there is overall development of the state. The government then has money to aid in betterment of future workforce and QoL. Of course, the Central government facilitated South and West to literally rob Bihar etc. of their inherent wealth creation instruments via the freight equalisation policy, but the above point is still valid as it is the outcome. In fact, this shows the effect of *policy* being the driving force IN THE LONG TERM, being a nanny cannot fix this.
BJP karyakarta lol. I have heard they pay their workers well.
