Has anybody worked or know if anybody from Thomson Reuters tech center in Toronto? Or does anybody have any idea what the culture is like? Having difficulties searching for software engineering there.
To be clear it might be a nice set up if you actively don't want to work. That's the MO at TR, coast until you get laid off, which is inevitable for all engineering staff as product has zero understanding of what the market wants and makes decisions based on hunches rather than data or customer validation.
I am working there. It is fantastic. WFH privileges and excellent work life balance. Actual work depends on the team. Do it
Accepted and I've been working there for a bit over a month now, really liking it :)
