The only answer anyone should say is "yes." They're effectively a monopoly at this point with every major arena/stadium owned by or uses live nation. They put it in contracts that you can't have performers who don't use live nation. And live nation will then block you from performing in any of their arenas if you don't play by their rules. They have no competition.
Well they DO have competition such as SeatGeek and StubHub. But TM is the big gorilla. Maybe, just maybe, some acts will choose fan experience over making money. Honestly, TM over-promised and under-delivered. Bad scene.
Those are only secondary markets, though. They are not competitors in the slightest for what is TM's main business: first-hand sales from venues to fans.
