I purchased etickets from Stubhub in Nov for a concert in July. I still don’t have the etickets. We have people flying in from out of town, and I am starting to get worried. I called Stubhub and they said they are investigating, but nothing further. Is this normal? Is Stubhub not sending the tickets on purpose until a few days before the concert? I can see them doing this in case I change my mind about the concert and try to resell the tickets, they can refund my money (minus the fees, of course) and sell them at a price that is further jacked up? Or they will gladly offer to resell the tickets (that I don’t even have) for a fee. Is this how Ticketmaster does it too?
Had this happen a few months ago. StubHub support is awesome. Let them do their thing and worst case they’ll let you pick new confirmed tickets from what’s available
Stubhub is mostly going to be resellers 99% of the time so human issues can happen because the sellers are stupid. Support will usually make it better in order to save face. Hopefully they will do something. They were supposed to limit speculative ticketing on the platform. AKA the reseller doesn’t even have the ticket yet and they are going to try to get it for you (lol). If that happens, good luck. Tickets aren’t guaranteed unless you are from the primary venue seller.
Ignore the Ticketmaster douche bag. We wouldn’t have this problem if they didn’t have an illegal monopoly, and actually did something to prevent bots. The Amazon respondent gave you the correct advice. If you don’t get your tickets, and this is super rare, support will make sure you get in and the seller will get charged a hefty penalty. Either way, you’ll be fine.
Thank you!
Whenever I have bought tickets on stub hub I am usually given the confirmed tickets (mostly via Ticketmaster) a few days before the concert.
