Have an interview w them for a director position. On one hand the company looks like a shady marketing company and on the other….
Lol why do you think its shady. I interviewed woth them in 2019 went to onsite really loved the office in charlotte since you are from Amazon all mid size companies will seem like shady to you?
I worked there for 1.5 years actually. Happy to answer any questions. Overall, didn’t love it. Work life balance was horrible and TC wasn’t good. They do “marketing” but are essentially middle men. They own some really big websites (healthline, bankrate, cnet). Work was decently interesting but that can vary widely based on what business you’re on. The people there are great and you will get some opportunities to own your work. The work you do does impact the business.
The company has been going down hill fast lately and they do under pay. A lot of senior leadership has been jumping ship along with a lot of people from the engineering side. Mix that with some pretty rough layoffs you can see why people are leaving. It used to be great and the people I worked with were amazing but it is flipped pretty fast.
Run away. This place is a horrific working environment
Yes they bought parts of cbs i a few years back
