My car battery died, so yesterday I called AAA roadside assistance to get it replaced. I'm an AAA member, I pay $64 per year, partial benefit small discount on car batteries which cost $200. The technician charged me an extra $20 for the installation. During the installation, the battery looked used, but the tech insisted that it was new battery. I had my doubts, so I went to AutoZone to have it checked. Their test showed the battery was at 87% capacity. It's in good shape, but it doesn't seem like a new battery. I'm unhappy with this situation for two reasons: 1. AAA promised to replace my battery with a new one, not a used one. 2. Maybe $220 isn't a big deal for some, but three years ago I bought a new battery from Walmart for $120 and installed it myself. Now, I feel like I overpaid by $100 and didn't even get a new car battery. Do you think I have a chance of proving to AAA that they installed used car battery? Or it’s not a big deal and should I just forget about it and accept the situation?
Your battery died because you bought it at Walmart
Walmart battery is actually good, just like AAA and Costco, as long as it is one with longer warranty not the short warranty one.
Battery has a serial number and date, you sure it is used? They would be stupid if they have to warranty it later for sure if they are used. It takes a while to fully charge it, drive it for a few days or more and see.

Why Worshipping Lord Ram Important in Hinduism?
I just take it to autozone and free installation
My car wasn’t running at that time and I already paid
If you have road side assistance then they should jump your car for free then drive to the nearest store? Anyway, a few bucks difference is not worth the hassle.
