Best case scenario is that FB puts in the time and money to make a real metaverse. They will then make it a walled garden because they donāt know how to work with others at all. Then they get sued as a monopoly and it becomes an open platform.

I would quit but Iād have to pay back prorated part of my signing bonus, so including that my Y1 TC is still $285k (E4 1 YoE) at current prices. But unless thereās a massive rally in the stock Iāll be looking to leave immediately after 1 yr here. Also the market is too soft for me to find another good full remote job, and Meta will make my resume much stronger.
While you are at it please share the list of companies hiring 1YOE with with 300K TC.

Any country with a dictator won't end up well. So is a private company that's being controlled by one person. That's why Google Microsoft Apple are much better because they are not controlled by just the CEO.
