Closed on a BMW X5 but the configuration I am looking for requires a custom order; nothing fancy just the combination of exterior, interior trim and package that makes it a custom order. Can’t negotiate on that. Most dealerships I am talking to are going in circles and not ready to give me a deal over MSRP. One dealership mentioned about the Costco discount which is around 3K, though I see that on 2024 models only, so not sure how they’ll pull it off. In past I saw negotiations in 8-10% bracket over MSRP, is that still valid? Any other negotiation tricks or brokers I should go to? Want to close this soon, given the wait is ~3 months Thanks
I hate my x5, I wouldn't buy it if I can travel to the past
Tc….?
Buy tesla.. I am guessing you are not desi
Bruh a X5 vs Tesla? Lol These are two entirely different classes of vehicles
That’s all u don’t know.. white Tesla is what you should buy to showoff is what I know
If you're in socal, I remember seeing a guy from the Temecula dealership on leasehackr facilitating custom orders. From what I read in reviews, he slaps the exact MSRP sticker price for custom orders and doesn't raise it up or bring it down.
So far the dealers I have spoken to did not ask above MSRP. Do you know the dealer? I could not find any notes with Temecula search in leasehackr
Don't know the dealer, I considered going there but ended up working something out from carlsbad. Here's the link tho: https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/socal-bmw-special-offers-1-in-the-nation-04-06-2023/116821
Bmw x5 is one of the most sought-after vehicles right now. I imagine it would be hard to get discounts on it. Have you checked lease hackr forum?
Just checked, 2024 models are showing 10% off MSRP, which seems a steal. Do you have experience using the brokers there?
Check with gcauto on leasehackr, his dealership give out 8-10% discount on X5/7, including custom orders.
BMWs are just garbage - poorly made, overheat, plastics everywhere. Every repair costs a fortune unless you know how to DIY. Even in that case, engineers made sure parts are angled in the most impossible position for you to remove/install stuff. Dump after 5 years and take a depreciation hit. Thank me later

Real talk: in what way private schools are better than public in nyc?
Where are you located? Any custom order BMW should not be had for above MSRP unless it’s a limited or special edition. All you need is an allocation from a dealer who likely has a ton of x5 slots anyway since it’s literally BMWs best selling vehicle
SoCal, looking for below MSRP 😀
Misread and thought you were getting hit with 8% above MSRP. Model year just rolled over so you may need to give it like 6-8 weeks for them to get a steady stock of 25s before they go back to discount. But it should be as easy as making your build, saving the id/sharing thru bmw, then being up front and saying you’re looking for 8% off MSRP with any relevant details. Somebody likely to take you up on that after half the others say you’re insane and they offer MSRP
