Have always been curious. Is it okay if weed is detected in the results during drug test in states that have legalized weed? Like in CA or WA? TC-180K #drugtest #weed #interview #interviewed #lifestyle #tech #techcareer #technology

Your future boss would probably ask where you get your buds from.
Depends on what the drug test is for
Employement drug tests vary?
Now where is the fun in finding about it via blind. Why don’t you try it out yourself and let us know? Isn’t that the benefit of blind?
Meh, Weed hits my anxiety chords- I don’t do it
If youre in a government contractor position or the company insurance policy requires it then yeah
Should probably be ok. Unless its a drug test for some visa purpose. Or for a job which requires you to be drug free
For federal work it matters
IANAL… The companies still requiring drug testing these days probably are following federal regulations and therefore it doesn’t matter if you live in a state where it’s legal. So, operating heavy machinery, like a truck, forklift, train, airplane(!), etc., will almost certainly require a negative THC result. I believe that The Home Depot doesn’t drug test prospective employees anymore unless you’re, say, operating a forklift (see above). What other companies require a drug test? Also, even if the job doesn’t have federal regulations that apply, the company policy might require a negative result, and if the company is doing drug testing in the first place, I suspect they’ll frown on THC. Do defense contractors do drug testing? If so, I can’t imagine they would be okay with THC irrespective of whatever state you happen to live in.
DoD contractors do drug testing, yes.
Here’s an exercise for you. Many companies have some sort of alcohol policy where it’s allowed in moderation at company-sponsored events. Go ask HR if weed is also allowed at such events in states where it’s legal.
