In 2018 , we are busy creating Hyperloop, rockets to mars, self driving cars, nano technology and Indians are spending money on outdated fascist propaganda kind of work. BTW who is this guy? Is he current PM of India? did they fix issues related to poor infrastructure or population or air pollution? Because last time when I went to Bangalore in 2016 , infrastructure, air pollution was really very bad.

If you believe in 3rd, you should take some basic economics 101 classes.
Care to explain your basic economic. The visitor capacity is about 10000 people per day and ticket prices Rs.120 for adults and Rs60 for children, and Rs350 for premium tickets. Assuming average ticket price at Rs150 and 10,000 visitors the daily totals comes to about 15 lacs. Assuming that 10,000 visitors do come on average for each day of the year, it comes to only 55 crores for the year. Divide 3000 crores by 55 crores you still get 55 years. And this assumes no maintenance expenses. Once you add maintenance and a more realistic average visitor count you are looking at 100 years easily I think you mean basic BhaktNomics
Not to support the statue itself really because all it is is a political ploy but public spending can be used on things that don’t directly result in improved livelihoods for people. If you disagree go argue with your cities / govts to stop maintaining a bunch of statues, parks, shut down NPS completely and all the other useless stuff that doesn’t directly result in human progress.
