intel was once a top-tier tech company. they hired top talent from great schools. Times have changed and clearly the company is struggling a bit. I was curius to see how the rest of the world sees Intel.
They don't.
If u think it will count.
It’s a hardware company and still very strong at that. Wrong to judge it alongside software companies like fang
I know. But great hardware people still don’t go work for Intel. They goto Google, msft
They take diversity and inclusion very seriously!!
First what do you think of Intel because its you working there
I think it’s ok. It feel like we’re solving hard problems. But Rest of the tech calls us slow and outdated. I’ve never worked anywhere but Intel.
All people talk about is its chillax working at intel, is that true with good perks😊
don't worry too much about what others think. just leetcode.
I used to work there. It’s garbage.
Hows intuitive surgical working out? My first phone chat with recruiter, I barely brought up wlb and they said then intuitive won't work out for you. 😳
I’ve been with ISRG since 2015. It’s been lovely. WLB isn’t bad, idk why they said that. We’re growing fast.
I liked Intels new memory solutions for big data systems, sounded innovative
All I know is intel gets paid 🥜
It's not really sinking yet, but it's a dead end company for software engineers. Get out while you can. Peers and managers are all infiltrated with terrible people, so it won't be fixed anytime soon.
We're they ever top tier for software? I assume hardware is Intel's expertise.
Yeah, talent coming out of schools talked Intel all the time. Now, not even hardware guys are interested in Intel
