why Bloomberg is better than AWS
Average tenure 5 years at BBG vs 1.5 years at AWS No mandatory pip and back stab Better during recession Manager dont have all the stupid power in the world to put you in PIP Coworkers are relaxed and chill where as AWS coworkers are slaves to the machine Bloomberg rewards loyalty where as AWS wants to get rid of you at the first sign of incompatibility. Better WLB so you can focus on areas of life that you actually care about (family, health, hobbies) Tell me why you think AWS is better than BBG other than it being faster paced and more relevant tech stack.
Bbg good for retirement. Not good for hustling and making money. TC for high levels is okay but for lower levels pay is pretty bad

Former bbg here, for money and scope, and now no top down RTO. Don’t get me wrong, I still think bbg is a nice place to work for, I sometimes regret leaving, but just sometimes
