working at airbnb pros and cons?

people are super nice here. everyone is a great host. sometimes engineers go extra mile to help others. not like other places I have seen

Too much Kool-Aid. Pro or con depending on how you feel about it. Little work/life balance. Few opportunities for movement. Cool office. Generally nice people, but a few bad eggs that got through. Lack of direction. Too many people have their hands in the pot. Deteriorating culture, moving towards bureaucracy and becoming corporate. It's kinda a weird time being stuck between phases in growth.

If they can do Asia correctly, growth is really limitless. Do I think Asia is being handled correctly? Yes and no. Better than other startups for sure.
