Any thoughts?
Been there. Don’t bother. Find a new job and negotiate hard!
Agree. They know what your salary is. It is not an oversight. Probably some stupid HR rule. I would just go get another job.... IBM is well known for paying people vastly different salaries for the same role.
Same at Amazon. There can be huge difference, I mean real huge difference between an external hire and an internally promoted folk or someone who has been there in the company for very long.
If you want to keep being underpaid in the future go talk to your manager
Funny
This . Other option is to switch job and double your pay
Waste. I asked. They gave me 7% raise which is pathetic. I switched jobs after that and got 76% raise.
This is the way
Did Verizon pay you 76% more? 😲
Was there a couple of years back. I told him I have a family to take care of. Got a handsome bump.
Which company? And how much bump?
NVIDIA. TC increased by about 26%. And the stocks he gave me then are now 7x. So it worked out for me.
What are you talking about? Noone at Earth's Best Employer makes less than newgrads!
Looks like someone got low balled
Start interviewing
JUMP SHIP DUDE
Yeah, find another job… if they didn’t appreciate you, they never will. At this point is not about just the money
It never works that way. If it did, then everybody would get raises via negotiation. You negotiate when there’s an offer on the table usually, not your ongoing salary
Not worth wasting time on that
Getting a new job isn't exactly instantaneous
@facebook, you don't need to find a new job. At some point, you need to accept that someone with less experience may be earning more than you. If you care a lot about money, you would be looking for ways to make more money regardless of what you coworkers make.
