I am looking into going on the data engineering track and i think the Udacity program would teach me how to use some of the tools that i need to learn. If you think its not worth it, what resources would you recommend that i use to pick up the skills? thanks
No, I've taken a good number of Udacity courses and they are aimed at the lowest common denominator and treat you like you don't know anything.
What do you recommend I try?
Coursera has some solid courses. Their pricing model is better too. There is also a free "Mining of Massive Dataset" course on Stanford online. Also edX has some good courses.
