I apologise on behalf of shitty leadership with shitty priorities and no vision. Our culture does not promote fixing things on priority unless there is enough noise. As an IC our hands are tied. So yes, please make more noise. Our product is shit.
+1. The leadership has completely lost it. They want to add AI everywhere instead of funding things that users and customers want, or fixing bugs. As a very senior IC, my I can’t do my job anymore as some VP will override all our recommendations for some shiny AI bs. I’ve been at LinkedIn a long time before we got acquired by msft, and the morale internally has never been worse than what it has been since last year.
That’s cus we’re pressured to grow and besides literally just raising prices, we’re out of ideas.
Does anyone remember the "Motivational Pathway" bug in LinkedIn? There was a time when I saw a lot of profiles with education as "Motivational Pathway".

Really? I saw a lot of profiles, and the college page doesn't exist. No concrete results from Google search also. I thought some LinkedIn employee messed up by running a test script in production.
I sometimes see my profile photo as someone else's profile photo while scrolling on mobile app. Get in app offer to try premium for free but while proceeding further it asks for payment. Happens always.
