Jokes aside, most of McKinsey heard about that the same time everyone else did, and itâs not something to make fun of. McKinsey actually has a digital division that focuses on âDigital Transformationsâ for many big corporations. You learn about what pain points they have (mainly how to save them $) and how technology can help. Itâs better to go in as a Digital expert and not code so you get the integrative experience.

A better way to accomplish what you're aiming for is to interact with founders and other people running companies in the same domain. MBA will do little in terms of understanding. Better to network and talk, and learn from people with skin in the game
If you want a baseline business knowledge, look at what the core classes offered at any MBA program and take online classes in those, which include: Finance Accounting Marketing Operation Economics Strategy None of these core classes are that in-depth. Think of them as the intro courses you would've taken in an undergrad major. The goal is not to make you the subject matter expert but rather be knowledgeable enough to carry on an intelligent discussion with the subject matter expert
Any recommendation for such a program from any of the good university?
Harvard CORe program. Check this out. It is a prep for MBA scope. But has content that runs deep for folks without economics and business background.
