I accepted a product professional contract position with a company to do some product work for Humana for 6-12 months. The offer is $45/hr no benefits. which seems low to me. I accepted because I had nothing else on the table and because I have dependents and mouths to feed but I was just contacted and am on final rounds for another contract that pays $65/hr. My start date for Humana is June 15th. any tips or advice for the following options 1. Leaving Humana for higher offer 2. Going to Humana to see if they would match the offer to keep me or 3. Leave it alone and accept the 45/hr and look for FTE while I have the contract at Humana?
It is a contract offer tell them things changed on ur end and need to break it. Your sourcing company will be pissed but if you dont care about them, not much will happen
