💯 I work with traders all the time. People on blind think they make a lot because they make 300k. It’s laughable. They are so naive and don’t realize how much money people are actually making “out there”

This is great, but it means nothing to us as tech workers. I would rather take my 105K TC remote job that’s stable as opposed to a highly volatile finance job where I would have to work upwards of 80+ a week. There’s also an element of survivorship bias here, especially considering that this is a top firm and that they survived the other firms that didn’t do so well in the market. TC: 105K
