Bad for Meta
Good for Meta (especially if Holo Lens fails). Even if it doesn’t, Meta doesn’t have to own every aspect of the metaverse to win, just the infrastructure needed to connect everyone
Meta just may have lost access to the world's biggest gaming IP (Call of Duty).
There was a time when Blizzard was an amazing company with an immense amount of vision and compassion for their customers. Maybe Microsoft can bring that back, but who knows?
What the fuck? Tc: 🥜
Thanks for your volunteer work
WoooHooooo!!!!
Nice! More exclusives on Xbox!
Not likely. CoD generates massive revenue, they’d be receding more land to Battlefield and FortNite. I imagine they’d just take a bigger scoop of licensing costs on PS.
I dont know how i feel about this.
IP wise it seems like a great move. But culture at Activision blizzard sucks. Going to be hard to fix that part
I have the opposite opinion. I think msft wont have the right vision for their games and their games will go downhill, but the culture and hiring difficulties will be fixed being acquired by a large tech giant like Msft
Idk. Blizzard used to make great games and had a great reputation. All that's gone to crap after Activision merger. They are also on the "milk existing IP to death" treadmill. All important leaders have already left. I doubt that they will produce anything good anyway. So Microsoft won't have much impact there
MSFT could have been nice about it.
Microsoft have done a very good job investing in the long term success of their titles like age of empires, the new halo and sea of thieves. Pretty much what activision is missing with their IP churn. If Microsoft can slow things down and create f2p live service games out of those major IPs Acti/Blizz have then smooth sailing ahead I think
Aren't ppl pretty upset with the new halo?
😴🤭
