It took less than 2 months to go from an incredible job market to hiring freezes, layoff rumors and “let’s be thankful we have a job” sentiment. What the fuck is going on BT 160k
Do you not read the news?
Welcome to 2000-2001 redux Earnings misses and layoffs
It's just beginning.
Seriously, how did you think a recession happens?
This is my first time experiencing a recession type situation in my work/adult life. Was it like this in the previous recessions too?
It almost always happens this way. Simple reason: if people saw it coming long ago, they would’ve diversified long ago and prices would crater at that long ago point.
Harder to climb, easier to slide. Also, companies move way more quicker on cost rationalization than capitalizing on growth.
Life
Welcome to real life. Folks are wildly overreacting to a market downturn. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to take advantage.
As in buy the dip and continue to job hop?
Dude folsk are reacting to the fact that they no longer are as rich as they were a couple of months ago. This is a acary event when they start realizing that a lot has changed all of a sudden.
