Has Anyone done Formation Dev?

It sounds like it’s a boot camp sort of thing tailored to help people get into FAANG. Has anyone enrolled in it before? Tried to get more info on their site but some of the links don’t work it looks like. #engineering #software #swe #bootcamp

It's closer to interview preparation than a bootcamp. The big advantages they have over other bootcamps and their competition is that their content is tailored to your performance through their various pillars (instead of a set curriculum for a language/framework), they continue to support you until you get a software engineer offer (instead of a static timeframe), and the quality of their educators. The educators there are themselves FAANG (and other large tech company) engineers so you're getting people who have gone through the same things as you and can closely relate to your experiences. The people who put in the effort have gotten FAANG offers and it's not at all about being smart. Unlike other prep companies, they continuously iterate and curate their content to ensure constantly increasing comprehension and they even have a system design series to teach junior engineers distributed system design. This stands out a lot as plenty of Blind users complain about a lack of in-depth system design preparation and material that enable engineers to differentiate themselves from the crowd in an era where there is more supply than demand and tech companies have mile-high expectations.
