Hey, any of you from tusimple? Curious about how's the company culture there? I have seen many complaints on toxic management, is that the case? Saw there's a news on possible ipo early next year, but no more news after August. Is it still promising?
As a previous intern, I would say the culture emphasizes performance and ....has a toxic culture. Feeling fortunate to join Amazon rather than TuSimple now though.
Amazon is better? why?
Some co-workers are toxic too. HR is pretty inept.
Interviewed with them recently for PM role. HM wasn't aware of Kodiak and other competition lol. Also came off as tad arrogant. Didn't want to work for him. Also, during my chance to ask questions, he didn't want to get into details though we had NDA signed and responded with "no comment" on specific technical details. Also, when I asked him a tough question, he responded as "this is the question I ask others so I can put that back on you," I told him its my chance to ask questions now so want hear his response. Nonetheless, got a some wishy washy answers so wasn't too impressed. Got my rejection in less than 24hrs; expected it lol but didnt really care. Used them for practice and build my DB of interview questions. edit:minor typos.
