My parents United flight from SFO to Del got canceled due to Ukrainian war and now I have two options - Turkish or Emirates. Turkish airlines is $150 cheaper per ticket (save $300) but I m confused and unable to decide Can someone share their experience of flying in both? Or recommend what wud make sense for senior citizens Also Turkish is not a part of air bubble #travel
Emirates airline is better quality and worth more the difference between the airlines.
Best experience i have had for sfo-del has been emirates.. no exp of turkish though
Always cheaper airline, your money is better spent elsewhere
Lol no. We get paid well enough to splurge $200 extra for a comfortable economy class seat at least.
Depends on how often you travel, 200$ for 5 trips a year for 2 people is like 2k, I wouldn’t do it, however we’ll paid I maybe. But yes, if 200$ avoids a 10 hour transit, I would do it
And TC or …
Emirates usually means A380 and a lot of space
Turkish Airlines is really good.
Air Malaysia has continued service across Ukraine air space.
Oh no not again
No I don’t want to get shot down…
Qatar>Emirates>Turkish>Etihad
I hate Qatar. During my journey to India last year, while covid was still a thing, Qatar packed the plane like sardines while Emirates still had maintained empty seats. I know coz one family member was flying Emirates that same day while the rest of us were flying Qatar as Emirates tickets were crazy expensive. Do your parents a favour and choose Emirates. And although I hate airline food, Emirates is still “palatable”. Qatar food was 🤮
could be one off, never had an issue with either in both economy and business.
Economy or Business? Economy -> Emirates Business -> Turkish Emirates has a suboptimal hard product in business class for 777
Anyday Emirates
