Seems this week is a big week for layoffs.
Here is the shocking part of the announcement from Yahoo: "The layoffs represent a workforce reduction of 12%; another 8% will be let go later in the year." You think people are going to feel a sense of belonging, want to give their best self to their work all while knowing that there is going to be another 8% laid off later in the year. Productivity and revenue will drop further is my guess, many people that didn't get laid off today are all now looking because they are potentially just going to get laid off later this year.
the creativity of layoffs 🚀
Every company is doing layoffs to hide the impact the economy is having on finances. They're just predicting they'll need to do that for multiple quarters.
