Lowballed at Goldman Sachs
All my interviews went really well and the recruiter asked about my expectations. Not knowing what to say, I've quoted a number and an offer was rolled out without any questions asked. Did I ask less? Was I lowballed? YOE : 7.5 years TC : 50LPA fixed + 10LPA variable Role : Vice President Location : Bangalore, India
50 what? Not US dollars. It can’t be. Not at Goldman. Their salary column in database a has minimum constraint more than that
50 LPA = $5 million USD

What city? In the US? Vice president of what exactly? I bet administrative assistants make more than that in NYC or Bay area...

I believe he means 50 lakhs per annum in India, which I think is good in India as I don't follow the salaries in India any more.
What's your current TC at Adobe ?
VP isn't that high up in the ranks. Managing director and above is though.
