Ex TR employee Toronto site (first few employees of Toronto site) part of regular interview process: hacker rank test take home, then initially live coding interview pair programming, then call with Hm, then full onsite (includes Hm and 2 other senior engineers and 1 group director) - this was the process in 2017. Not sure how much has changed.
If it's a full stack role: expect lot of algorithm questions, Java experience gets bonus points, keep the code clean and back it up with test cases, if it's front end heavy, then you'll be asked front end concepts(esp js stuff) and then obviously talking about your past experience and emphasizing on leadership and achievements is a must!
And with it being a senior role: expect mentorship experience and being able to show that you can influence others in the team and you're not just a yes man.
FYI: TR Toronto is one of the best tech companies in the city with competitive salary and perks, the quality of talent is extremely high with every other person from University of Waterloo and a lot of PhDs in the congnitive computing teams so expect a really high bar. The rejection rate is fairy high.
