Are Americans made to believe world is dangerous place ?

Except Canada, UK, Australia, Western Europe and obviously US ? Do you know Americans feel India is one of the most difficult and dangerous place on earth, just better than Pakistani and Afghanistan ? I feel 10x times safer in Bangalore than SF but that’s coz I know these two places well and can see through US news medias biases. Do you feel the same ? Have you been told as well that SEA is bad and white countries are the safest ? TC 500

Every place is dangerous.

You're talking about the perception of all Americans but your example is just a comparison of 2 cities. Do you truly believe India as a whole is safer than USA?

Statistically, India is indeed safer. Just look at the intentional homicide and traffic fatality rates in both countries. And don’t even get me started on guns and drugs.

Statistically, maybe. But do you believe crime reporting in india is fair? I've been groped atleast a few times back home and never in the US. I've seen my friends being casually cat called, men touching themselves in public transport staring at us. None of these have ever been reported. When we did try to report one instance, the police just questioned our promiscuity as college girls. Ive seen the way men stare back home, the fear taking a late night cab would induce. I'm from Bangalore too. In the US, reporting is mostly a 911 call away. I understand this is purely anecdotal but my freedom has risen multifold in the US. Of course I'm not safe from violence here either but my daily life is so much better. I'm less dependent on men here for my safety which has lead me to choose more authentic relationships. Sorry for the rant lol. If you truly believe india was safer for you, then you should follow your truth. Saying this with no shade at all. US definitely has crazier crimes that are way more unpredictable.

You’re saying because you’re an Indian man. Women feel the other way

Care to explain ?

Your first mistake was assuming that I think India is better than Pakistan and Afghanistan. I don’t discriminate against shitholes.

Americans are taught that the world dislikes them and it’s dangerous yes. They are also taught they they have historically oppressed everyone and so that’s why everyone hates them. They are then taught to feel ashamed and timid of their white privilege even if they grew up poor or in rural areas. Everyone hates them and they deserve it So yes American people are the eldians to marley

SAIC Blooperz Feb 24

The US is more than SF and Seattle…hard to believe as a blinder I know.

Oracle zEXB52 Feb 24

Yeah redneck towns are safer, but boring and shitty af

Yeah, they don't count the drugs or gun violence when cooking up those stats. Media is just a propaganda centre for the government justifying why they need to attack other countries and invest in military.
