Hello Folks I am reaching out as I need help with passing the DMV road test . I identify as an Indian race (not to be confused with native American) . I have given 3 road test. The last 2 road tests were with the same driving school . I want to know how many points on the DMV scoring test can be marked wrong ? I have lost hope as it's my 3rd driving test. Although, I agree with the first 2 tests being a mistake on my part. However,in the last I.e. 3rd test he failed me because I did [x] Unnecessary Stop/full stop on right turn(had green) before turning . He mentioned that the vehicle behind had to stop and it could have caused rear-ended my car. Want to know your opinions and this is not a pure racial discrimination?! I just think DMV 3rd party road testing centers are.money mining machines. Any experience or this me overthinking? #auto #dmv #drivetime #drive #drivemotors #driver
Let’s assume you are great and test instructors are racists- Go to Pleasanton DMV. Instructors are immigrants themselves, routes are easy, pass rates are highest in Bay Area. Also, if you stop while turning right- you deserve to be failed because someone will surely rear end you; and none more than a Tesla driving Asian Aunty who drive like proper maniacal ninjas. (yes, that’s racist/generalist- but deep down all of us who drive in Bay stay very careful around Asian women drivers, they are a piece of art!).
I am in Oregon unfortunately and this is the only driving school that allows one to book a test on weekends
if you are indian, why haven't you purchased a tesla already.. let the car self drive and get your license
Op I am not in 100k club, also never going to buy a Tesla for self-driving reason. Something's should always stay old fashioned as in one should know how to drive rather than relying on some machines or an AI algo who might mess up .
Don't take it personally. I failed for the exact same reason on my first attempt.
Thanks. It just that I think he is going to fail me again . That guy is always on his weekend shift and every time now I book with him, his sight will dread me into knowing that the fail results are coming.
Was it a protected green right turn or a solid green? If it’s a solid green, you do need to check for crossing pedestrians as they have right of way. TBH you should always be checking for pedestrians.
What's a protected right turn? I haven't heard of that. It was solid green. I was in right turn lane, I signaled, left/right shoulder checked and started turning. However, I still felt that there was someone coming and I did a right shoulder check and maybe subconsciously, did a gas brake and I don't even recall it. May be he just come up with that. I disagree with the way tests are conducted. The hypocrisy is that before the test, they blabber the oath that we are not going to trick you or give any illegal directions. Now just for a sake think if someone actually does the opposite via their actions during the drive test.
I see everything can be racism these days.
Nah, that’s dangerous to randomly stop, I wouldn’t want you on the road (don’t care if you’re Indian or not)
This! Agree 100%
It was not a random stop or hard stop I recall of. I would be very much interested in going through the recordings to see if I had actually did it Also, if I did unnecessarily stop, how come it's not a responsibility of the vehicle behind me to have the safe distance. The driving instructor can come with any theory and categorize in it as instant fail that's what this is about.
